Sponsored in conjunction with the Chosen Generation Church, HelpSelf CDC annually hosts the eight-week, low-cost, Generation Summer Camp program. The camp currently serves 52 inner-city youth  and 8 pre-schoolers through field trips, learning and healthy meals.

I understand the photos will be used to keep a journal of activities, to share during power point presentations and/or reports to our donors and for promotional purposes including flyers, brochures, newspaper and on the internet. Generation After School Program

HelpSelf’s tutoring and mentoring program offers high-risk, inner-city youth with an positive alternative to the pressures of the streets. Through the guided influence of our mentors and tutors, participants in the program are enriched academically and empowered socially to grow into productive leaders in their community.

During the school year, these services are available on Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Our Success Stories

Community Outreach

HelpSelf’s community outreach programs offer a wide variety of benefits to the Mercer County area.

In addition to their focus on the community’s youth, HelpSelf’s outreach activities includes a monthly food pantry that serves 60 families with a week worth of food. We also host a monthly community outing for the youth and their family. We host a community family retreat to the Poconos Mountains in the Spring. We host a annual Coat Drive, Christmas Toy and Clothing Giveaway. We host community-wide meals throughout the year . HelpSelf believes in helping where needed in meeting people’s even most basic needs. As leaders in the community, HelpSelf cares for people and thrives on empowering people to move to the next level.
